Radio and papers
We advised you to listen to the radio to improve your understanding
and learning of French language. We also know that, in spite of
the distance, you remain profoundlyattached to your country and
that sometimes you would give a lot to go back there for some minutes.
Homesickness, homesickness... Yo know since the 80s, a lot of numerous
community radios have been set up which in their language of origin
emit on the French waves. You can so listen to Portuguese radios
(foreign community the most represented in France), from the Maghreb,
Asian, Latin American, etc. You can also get directly on the small
and medium waves European radios as the (English) BBC, the (Spanish)
RNE and many others else.
Some radios in Paris :
Radio Méditerranée/Radio Soleil : 88,6 FM
Radio France Maghreb 99,5 FM
Radio Latina 99 FM
Radio Pékin 75,2 MO (à certaines heures de la journée).
Tel. : 01 45 31 35 60.
Radio Orient 94,3 FM
Radio Africa n° 1 107,5 FM
Radio France internationale : 89 FM. Site Internet :
You can also obtain information concerning your country through
the papers. In the main cities of France in particular in the stations,
there are newsstands endowed with aWorld press shelf. One can there
pick up El Pais, New York Times, Der Spiegel, El Watan, etc. There
are also newspapers and reviews conceived and published by the foreign
communities living in France (Europa latina, Salama, France-USA-Contact,
etc.). And if you feel you are a potential journalist, why not contact
the management of these magazines to propose them your collaboration?
You will participate so actively in the dynamism of your culture
in France.
